Nothing to Lose & Nothing to be Gained

This poem i wrote before i joined Vivekananda Kendra. I still remember all of us were very happy which was rear. I was tto leave for a tour with friends of my Bengali class and had just got the letter to join at Kanyakumari. This happens to me even today when i am very happy. The only difference is that time i was very young and didn't know whether i had anything to lose later in life.

But today i am sure to the core that i don't have anything to lose nor anything to gain even. Life has suddenly become a solved mystery. No botheration to know what will happen next, just live and let live others happily.

असीम  सुख के समय पर भी,

अनामिक दुःख की मौजूदगी,

रहती है मेरा दामन थामे l

उस दर्द की हलकीसी आह्ट

अनदेखे बोझ का एहसास

मुझे हरवक्त महसूस होता है.

यही वजह है की मेरी खुशियाँ

मेरा साथ देने से डरती है

अपनों के बीच में अकेलापन

यह माजरा सुलझता नहीं l

तन्हाईयां अच्छी भी लगती है,

और खालीपन डराता भी है,

अब हालते जिंदगी ऐसी है -

जाम तो भरा है  मैं पी न सकूँ

 जिंदगी प्यार से बुलाये पर

 मैं जी ना सकूँ, मर भी ना सकूँ...
